At Menguy’s, we know that small and medium-sized French businesses have a key role to play in the development and economic activity of the regions in which they are based. Not only can they make a significant contribution to the local economy, but by choosing local partners they can also actively help build a more sustainable future.
Menguy’s has been a committed local player for more than 35 years. With our factories and head office based in the Occitania region, we are promoting local employment and boosting the regional economy. And all our teams work on a daily basis to consolidate this social and economic framework, driven by the prospect of a prosperous and innovative future.

Menguy’s is proud to add the “French touch” to your pre-dinner drinks! Our French heritage and our commitment to local manufacturing are an integral part of our identity – our DNA.
From the outset, and thanks to the regional location of our production sites, we have encouraged local employment and the creation of value in France and its overseas territories. Our production site for snacking nuts, mixes, puffed biscuits, and peanut butter is located in Mazamet, in the Tarn region (81). Today, with more than 180 full-time employees, we are one of the largest private employers in the Mazamet basin. Our olives are made at our production site in Frontignan, in the south-east of Hérault (34), where more than 15 people are employed. Our head office is located just outside the ‘pink city’ of Toulouse, in Saint-Jean in the Haute-Garonne department (31), where more than 40 people work. All our products are designed and manufactured in France under the Occitan sun!
There’s no doubt that our business approach positions us as a committed local player. But it doesn’t stop there. To encourage local employment and boost the regional economy, we give preference to local service providers (refrigeration service provider, electrician, construction works, equipment, building supplies/repairs, etc.). At present, 66% of the service providers for our industrial sites are based in the Occitania region.

At Menguy’s, our employees are our greatest asset. As such, we are committed to providing them with a respectful working environment that is conducive to the professional development of all. We are thoroughly convinced that the development of our employees is essential to our long-term success, and they are always invited to share in the fruits of the company’s growth.
That’s why we invest in regular training, tailored to our needs. In 2023, our employees participated in more than 6,000 hours of training, providing them with learning and development opportunities throughout their career at Menguy’s.

A committed local player
As a company with deep roots within the Occitania region, we have been committed to contributing to its development for many years. We are fully aware of our responsibility and strive to exercise a positive impact on our social and economic environment.
We run a wide range of local initiatives:
- We participate in regional programmes;
- We actively support and contribute to social and solidarity projects with a view to strengthening ties and promoting sustainable development;
- We support local sporting associations and events through product donations;
- As a committed local player, we also play a part in improving public health. For more than 20 years, we have been involved in studies and research programmes aimed at better understanding and managing peanut allergy. Thanks to our teams’ capacity for innovation and creativity, we hope to have a positive impact on the regional food industry, particularly in terms of food and health;
- We rely on local schools to recruit students for our dual work-study programme, as well as interns (TSM, ISEG Toulouse, ESCEM, etc.). What’s more, some of our employees regularly visit schools in the Toulouse region to share their expertise and their passion for quality and good produce;
For Menguy’s, being a committed and dynamic player within the local economy is more than just words; it means taking concrete and sustainable action. For several years now, we have been members of the ‘AREA Occitanie’ network, a regional organisation with which we collaborate on the commercial development of our business and on continuous improvement projects.
